Request – Approval/Denial Clause Samples
The "Request – Approval/Denial" clause establishes a formal process for one party to submit requests that require the other party's approval or denial. Typically, this clause outlines the method and timeline for submitting requests, as well as the timeframe within which the recipient must respond, either granting or refusing approval. For example, a contractor may need to request approval for a change in project scope, and the client must respond within a specified number of days. The core function of this clause is to ensure clear communication and timely decision-making, thereby reducing misunderstandings and delays in the contractual relationship.
Request – Approval/Denial. Requests for leave without pay will be submitted in writing. The Employer will approve or deny leave without pay requests, in writing, within fourteen (14) calendar days when practicable and will include the reason for denial.
