Common use of Dues and Subscriptions Clause in Contracts

Dues and Subscriptions. Subject to the presentation of proper receipts or invoices and the appropriation of funds as part of the City's annual budget, City agrees to pay for the professional dues and subscriptions reasonably necessary for Employee's continuation and full participation in national, regional, state, and local associations, organizations, memberships, and subscriptions which Employee determines are necessary and desirable for her continued professional participation, growth, and advancement, and for the good of the City, which the City Manager, in his/her exclusive discretion, approves.
