Common use of Dues Deduction Cancellation Clause in Contracts

Dues Deduction Cancellation. An employee may cancel their payroll deduction of dues and fees by written notice to the Union and to the Port. The Port will make every effort to end the automatic dues deduction effective on the first pay period but no later than the second pay period after receipt of the written cancellation notice.
