Common use of Dues Transmittal/Hold Harmless Clause in Contracts

Dues Transmittal/Hold Harmless. (A) The COUNTY agrees to remit the aggregate deductions, together with an itemized statement to the UNION, by the first day of the succeeding month after such deductions are made. (B) The UNION agrees to release the COUNTY and save the COUNTY harmless from any liability whatsoever for performing its obligations as specified in this Article. Reasonable costs incurred in the defense of the COUNTY in any legal action against the COUNTY for implementing the provisions of this Article shall be borne by the UNION.
