Duration of Assistance Assistance is in the form of a one-time payment to the borrower and incentives to the first and second lien holders consisting of: • A $4,000 payment to the borrower by Ohio Homeowner Assistance LLC (OHA). • A $1,000 of inducement to the servicer. If the servicer waives this payment the borrower may receive an additional $1,000 directly from OHA. No payments may be made to the lender/servicer until a short sale, or deed-in- lieu agreement is executed. • Up to $2,500 in payments to secondary lien holders, if any, not to exceed 10% of the second lien balance. A recordable “Satisfaction of Lien” must be issued and the lienholder must agree not to pursue a deficiency judgment for any remaining balance.
