Plan of Assistance. The Plan of Assistance is designed to be helpful. It is initiated when other means of the assistive process have not been successful and the supervisor determines that the classified employee needs additional assistance and support to maintain or achieve an acceptable level of performance.
Plan of Assistance. Any plan of assistance developed pursuant to Article E.24.4.e for an employee who is placed on probation shall be of no more than four months in duration.
Plan of Assistance. If an educator receives an “Ineffective” rating on any component on the summative evaluation, a written Notification of Unsatisfactory Performance will be provided to the educator which will include areas requiring improvement.
Plan of Assistance. A. If the College determines that the performance of a faculty member could be improved through a directed, supportive process, the following procedure shall be followed to provide an opportunity for the faculty member to improve performance. The College will provide notification to the faculty member regarding the areas of concern. The member shall have the right to Association representation at that meeting and shall be notified of that right prior to the meeting.
B. If the College determines that a Plan of Assistance is the appropriate approach, it will be developed fifteen (15) days from the date of the initial meeting. It will include areas for improvement and supporting rationale or evidence indicating need for improvement, and specific improvement activities to be completed and the expected outcomes of each. Outcomes will be measurable and include projected completion dates.
1. People involved in reaching those outcomes, i.e., mentors, will be identified where appropriate.
2. Identification will be made of person(s) responsible for monitoring plan progress.
3. College resources required to meet the outcomes will be documented.
4. Appropriate reassignment time given to faculty member to complete the activities will be identified where necessary with the expectation of the faculty member’s commitment of personal time and effort.
5. Schedule of conferences with written progress reports will be provided.
C. Clear, written specifications of the implications or results will be provided should a faculty member not succeed in accomplishing the goals of the Plan of Assistance, up to and including termination.
D. Signatures of the faculty member, Association representative, and Xxxx will be executed to indicate acknowledgement to the terms of the Plan of Assistance.
1. A signed copy of the complete plan shall be provided to the member and to the Xxxx’x working file, and shall not be placed in the member’s personnel file unless the member fails to successfully complete the plan of assistance.
2. A summary of the successful Plan of Assistance including date, cause, anticipated outcomes and actual outcomes will be initialed by the faculty member and Xxxx and placed in the faculty member’s personnel file.
3. Faculty members placed on a Plan of Assistance during one academic year may be required to complete an intensive evaluation during the following academic year.
Plan of Assistance. Any judgment of overall unsatisfactory performance in an evaluation (per Appendix F) must be supported by observation and documentation to support the conclusion made by the evaluator, and the evaluator shall develop a plan of assistance following the format in Appendix F.1. This plan of assistance shall be in a separate and distinct document and shall identify the specific area that needs improvement, provide the teacher with specific written recommendations for improvement, include a timeline that gives appropriate time to implement the recommendations of the evaluator, and detail what administrative and other support and resources are available to the teacher.
Plan of Assistance. Prior to a Plan of Assistance being issued, the administration will meet with the paraprofessional to discuss the deficiency. A Plan of Assistance to overcome identified deficiencies may be issued to an employee by the appropriate supervising administrator. This Plan of Assistance may be issued at any time during the course of a school year according to the guidelines and form set forth in Appendix C. It is understood such a Plan of Assistance is subject to the grievance procedure.
Plan of Assistance. Paragraph 1: Normally problems concerning teacher performance will be called to the teacher's attention in an evaluation report, however, it may be necessary for the building principal to conduct a conference and prepare a written Plan of Assistance. See Article V, Section B, Paragraph 2 and Section C, Paragraph 5 (Salary Schedule) and Article XI, Section D, Paragraph 1 (Longevity Pay).
Plan of Assistance a. When a report states that the learning situation is less than satisfactory, the teacher shall have the opportunity to participate in a plan of assistance.
b. The evaluator shall take the initiative to develop a plan of assistance in conjunction with the teacher, the employer and the local association.
c. The plan shall include a statement of weaknesses to be overcome, recommendations for improvement, a sequential process for overcoming identified weaknesses, an adequate time line, and the identification of necessary resources and professional support.
d. The plan should be developed and made available to the teacher within one (1) month of the filing of the report.
Plan of Assistance. A written plan directed to helping professional improvement in specifically identified areas of deficiency. A plan will be implemented for an educator for any criterion that is determined “Does Not Meet District Standard”. A play may be implemented for an educator for any standard that is determined to be “Needs Improvement to Meet District Standard”. Continuation of contract is dependent upon successful completion of the plan.
Plan of Assistance. An employee whose performance is inadequate will be provided an opportunity for improvement under the following procedure:
