Common use of Duration of Isolation Leave Clause in Contracts

Duration of Isolation Leave. When an employee is eligible for and opts to take an Isolation Leave, the employee shall be granted a minimum of six (6) working days as leave without pay. However, at the option of the employee, the leave of absence without pay may be for less than six (6) working days but not less than three (3) working days, except when the Contractor and the employee mutually agree that the leave will be less than three (3) days. Additionally, provided an employee requests same in writing at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the commencement of his Isolation Leave, the Contractor shall grant an additional four (4) calendar days leave without pay in the following circumstances:
