Stage One. Incident Investigation
Stage One. If the dispute or difference cannot be settled informally, either party may, within thirty calendar days of the incident, or if grievance mediation has been used, within 30 days of the date that the advisory opinion is furnished, present a formal written grievance to the other party. The informal discussion in Article 21.2 is not intended to extend the 30 calendar day period to present a formal grievance. In unusual circumstances, where the grievor could not reasonably have been expected to have learned of the incident, these time requirements shall be waived. A grievance by the Faculty Association shall be forwarded to the Xxxx. A grievance by the University shall be forwarded to the President of the Faculty Association. The grievance shall:
Stage One. Should the Grievor not receive a satisfactory response from the relevant Xxxx, (or the administrative supervisor in the case of a Librarian or Counsellor) within ten working days after the initial consultation referred to above, the Faculty Association, upon the request and on behalf of the Grievor, may submit a written grievance to the Vice President Academic, or designate. The written grievance shall cite the factual background of the grievance, the provision(s) of the Agreement alleged to have been infringed upon or violated, and the remedy sought. The Grievor and/or the designated executive member of the Faculty Association shall attempt to settle the matter with the Vice President Academic or their designate. A written reply shall be given to the Grievor and to the Faculty Association within ten working days of receipt of the written grievance.
Stage One. Complaint
Stage One. An aggrieved employee shall first meet with their supervisor/principal to discuss the grievance. The meeting shall take place within ten (10) working days from the time when the issue arose. The aggrieved employee may request to have a xxxxxxx present.
Stage One. An aggrieved employee shall first submit any representations in writing to the employee's immediate supervisor or other management representative designated by the Board from time to time, either directly or through the employee’s xxxxxxx. Any such grievance shall be presented within ten (10) working days from the time it arose. The time limits specified in this Article shall be deemed to be exclusive of Saturdays, Sundays and the specified holidays recognized herein and may be extended by mutual consent of the parties.
Stage One. Advanced Case Mix Service Fees
Stage One. An employee(s) with a grievance shall contact their IUDC representative and they together, if they so desire, will present the grievance in writing to the applicable Manager. If a satisfactory settlement has not been received, in writing, within (5) five working days, the grievance may then proceed to a STAGE TWO meeting.
Stage One. Commencing on the Annual Service Charge Start Date, and for each of the 14 years thereafter, the Annual Service Charge shall be the amount established in accordance with Section 4.2 of this Agreement;
Stage One. Recorded Verbal Warning In the event that an employee’s conduct does not meet acceptable standards, the employee will normally be given a Recorded Verbal Warning by the Line Manager or Department Director. She/he will be advised of the reason for the Warning, that it is the first Stage of the Disciplinary Procedure and of her/his right of Appeal. The Recorded Verbal Warning will be kept on the employee's personnel file and will remain effective for six months.
