DURATION OF PROCEDURAL AGREEMENT. 8.1 This Agreement shall continue in effect for successive fiscal year periods unless notice is given, in writing, between May 1 and May 31 of any year, by either party, that the party desires to modify, amend, or terminate this Agreement. Once such notice is given, negotiations related to changes in this Agreement shall commence on a mutually agreeable date within thirty (30) days of such notice. In the event of an extreme disaster that interferes with the operations of the district, the terms and conditions of this Agreement may be suspended.
