Common use of Duties and Responsibilities of P Clause in Contracts

Duties and Responsibilities of P. C. P.C. shall be responsible for all Medical Services at the Sites and shall render such Medical Services to the public as will maximize the quality and efficiency of the treatment of patients. P.C. shall be solely responsible for the following items: (a) Physicians and Other Health Care Providers. P.C. shall hire, engage, supervise, evaluate and terminate all physicians, nurses, physical therapists, technicians and other health care providers (collectively, "Professionals") at the Sites, whether they are employees of P.C. or independent contractors of P.C., and, subject to the prior written consent of Manager, establish compensation and benefits for such Professionals. P.C. shall not increase or decrease the amount of such compensation and/or benefits without the prior written consent of Manager. P.C. shall be responsible for the payment of all compensation payable to Professionals, except to the extent that nurses, physical therapists, technicians and other health care providers may become employees of Manager pursuant to Section 4(a)(iv) of this Agreement.
