Duty Days. The duty days for employees of the Board shall be as indicated in Appendix A, Schedule of Classifications. The Board will require 190 duty days for ten-month employees, 212 duty days for 11-month employees, 249 duty days for 12-month employees. In the event that the Board of Education or the Superintendent closes the school system to all employees during the Winter Break, bargaining unit members who would otherwise be required to work shall be placed on paid Administrative Leave and those days will be counted as duty days.
Duty Days. A duty day is defined as scheduled workdays, excluding holidays and medical leave extending beyond five (5) consecutive days.
Duty Days. Subd. 1 The school district shall establish the calendar and duty days for each school year, and the principal shall perform services on such days as determined by the school district, including those legal holidays on which the school district is authorized to conduct school, and pursuant to such authority as determined to conduct school.
Duty Days. There shall be 191 duty days for 10-month teachers in the school calendar for the. No less than the equivalent of one and one-half (1%) work days work day prior to the arrival of students in the fall shall be reserved for individual preparation by teachers in their work area. There will be 195 duty days in the school year for resource teachers. The number of duty days in each work year as prescribed in this Article will be temporarily reduced by no more than three (3) unpaid furlough days for all Unit I employees in the 2009-10 school year.
Duty Days. For nine-month Faculty, duty days are all business days between the first and last day of the semester as defined by the Academic Calendar.
Duty Days. Duty days shall mean those days on which education assistants are contracted to perform services.
Duty Days. Duty days are subject to approval by the Superintendent or her/his designee. The duty year will be 221 days.
Duty Days. When the school year is split into two (2) parts under a shared-time arrangement, the teacher teaching the 1st part must be on duty three (3) days during pre-school workshops and, for continuity of instruction, the teacher teaching the 2nd part must spend three (3) days with the teacher being replaced during the final two (2) weeks of the 1st semester.
Duty Days. Subd. 1. There shall be 187 days of service for teachers. The duty year for new teachers (probationary first year and new probationary third year) shall include an additional three days of orientation prior to the commencement of the school year and the equivalent of one additional day outside the normal duty day during the school year for new teacher induction activities; the duty year for second and third year returning probationary teachers shall include the equivalent of three days outside the normal duty day for new teacher induction/mentoring activities as determined by the District. The training and development may include Board Credits for Lane Advancements.
Duty Days. 8.6.1 In IRA, any day is available for scheduling consistent with the duty week patterns.
8.6.2 In NIRA, Monday to Friday are the only available days for scheduling consistent with the duty week patterns, except:
8.6.2.1 HFEO's in conservation camps can be assigned schedules consistent with the duty week patterns on any days from Monday to Saturday; and,
8.6.2.2 Employees can voluntarily agree to include Saturday or Sunday or both as available duty days if such volunteering is confirmed in writing, expires at the end of the NIRA period, can be canceled on thirty days' notice by the employee or the department; and,
8.6.2.3 Fire Captains B may voluntarily agree to NIRA duty weeks, which include work schedules of four noncontinuous days of work. Such agreements will expire at the end of NIRA and can be canceled by the employee or the department with 30 days notice.
8.6.3 Copies of all agreements pursuant to subsection 8.6.2.2 or 8.6.2.3 above will be sent to CDF FIREFIGHTERS Sacramento Headquarters. No such agreement will take effect until seven days after receipt by CDF FIREFIGHTERS. If CDF FIREFIGHTERS determines the agreement is not voluntary, the agreement will not be effective pending investigation and mutual agreement.
8.6.4 Nothing in this provision precludes changes between IRA and NIRA, or in work hours as otherwise provided by this agreement.
