Jury Duty Leave. A regular, limited-term or probationary employee who is called for jury duty or for examination for jury duty shall be compensated at the employee's regular rate of pay for those hours of absence due to the jury duty which occur during the employee's regularly scheduled working hours provided the employee deposits the employee's fees for such hours of jury duty, exclusive of mileage, with the County Treasurer. Fees for jury duty performed during hours other than regularly scheduled working hours may be retained by the employee. Any hours worked beyond the regularly scheduled workday shall be subject to the workweek and overtime provisions (Article I). An employee may request a change in regularly scheduled working hours to a Monday through Friday day shift for the duration of such jury duty. Such requests shall be granted if practicable.
Jury Duty Leave. Leave of absence with pay will be granted to employees for jury duty. An employee will be allowed to retain any compensation paid to him or her for his or her jury duty service. An employee will inform the Employer when notified of a jury summons and will cooperate in requesting a postponement of service if warranted by business demands. An employee whose work shift is other than a day shift will be considered to have worked a full work shift for each workday during the period of jury duty. If a day shift employee is released from jury duty and there are more than two (2) hours remaining on his or her work shift, the employee will call his or her supervisor and may be required to return to work.
Jury Duty Leave. An employee who is on jury duty is entitled to leave with pay when the employee's jury service occurs on the employee's scheduled workday and provides appropriate documentation. Employees who are scheduled on other than a day shift shall be reassigned to a day shift. If, after reporting for jury duty, the employee is dismissed for the day, the employee shall return to work if time permits. An employee who is selected for jury service shall notify the Employer as soon as practical.
Jury Duty Leave. Leave shall be granted for service upon a jury. “Service upon a jury” includes time when the employee is impaneled for actual service or is required by the Court to be present for potential selection for service. During any other time, the employee shall report to work. Employees whose scheduled shift is other than a day shift shall be reassigned to a day shift during the period of service upon a jury.

All employees summoned to jury duty or jury selection shall be paid wages amounting to the difference between the amount paid to them for jury services and the amount they would have earned had they worked on such days, provided that such days fall on a regularly scheduled working day for that employee.

Time spent on jury duty shall be considered as time worked for purposes of this Agreement and an employee’s benefits status shall not be interrupted by reason of such jury leave.

Jury Duty Leave. When requested, a teacher may serve on jury duty. The Board shall pay the teacher his/her full salary provided that such teacher agrees to return to the Board any stipend received for participation on the jury.
Jury Duty Leave. An employee summoned by a court to serve as a juror shall be given a leave of absence for the period of her jury duty. For each day that an employee serves as a juror when the employee otherwise would have worked, the employee shall receive the employee's regular pay and the amount the employee received from the court shall be paid over to the Employer.
Jury Duty Leave. A member, while serving upon a jury in any court of record, will be paid such member’s regular salary for each workday during the period of time so served. Upon receipt of payment for jury service, the member shall submit jury duty fees to the Chief of Police who will then deposit such funds with the Township Clerk. Time so served shall be deemed active and continuous service for all purposes.
