Common use of Duty of Employees Clause in Contracts

Duty of Employees. (a) It shall be the duty of employees and laid-off employees to notify the Company promptly of any change in their address. If an employee should fail to do this, the Company will not be responsible for failure of a notice to reach such employee. (b) If an employee finds that he is unable to report for work because of sickness or other legitimate reason, he will notify his supervisor no less than one (1) hour before the start of employee’s shift, except where circumstances prevent compliance.
