Common use of Duty Related Court Appearances Clause in Contracts

Duty Related Court Appearances. When an off-duty employee is subpoenaed to court or other proceedings for testimony, or by the State Attorney or Public Defender for pre-trial conference or deposition arising from duties performed as a Jacksonville Police Officer or other previously approved official duties, he/she will be compensated for overtime in the form of compensatory time at the rate of one and one-half (1-1/2) hours of compensatory time for each hour of overtime worked.
