Earned Personal Time Clause Samples

Earned Personal Time. Bargaining unit members who have not used any sick time for thirteen (13) consecutive pay periods will earn will earn nine and a half (9.5) hours of personal time to be taken within six (6) months of the date in which it was earned. The personal time will be scheduled consistent to the Use of Compensatory Time as outlined in Section 14.6 provided such use of the earned personal time does not take staff levels below mandatory minimums and is approved by the Chief of Police or his or her designee. Bereavement leave shall not count towards used sick time when it comes to calculating earned personal time in this section.

Related to Earned Personal Time

  • Personal Time Employees shall be eligible to take accrued PTO time for personal reasons. Such time must be scheduled in advance in accordance with Employer policies and be approved by the employee's supervisor. Personal time PTO must be taken in at least one-hour increments.

  • Personal Time Off Executive shall be entitled to paid time off in accordance with the Company’s policies applicable to executives.

  • Personal Day All employees shall receive a personal day in each contract year. This personal day is in addition to the holidays listed in paragraph 3 above. The personal day shall be scheduled in accordance with the following provision: Employees may select such day off on five (5) days notice to the Employer provided such selection does not result in a reduction of employees in the building below 75% of the normal work staff. Such selection shall be made in accordance with seniority.

  • Additional Time If because of events beyond the Design Professional’s reasonable control, it is not able to meet the specified time period, then it should be entitled to ask the Owner for additional time, which request shall not be unreasonably denied.

  • Christmas or New Year's Day Off The Employer agrees to make every reasonable effort to ensure that employees required to work shift shall have at least Christmas Day or the following New Year's Day off.
