Earned Vacations. (a) Employees hired before January 1, 1993 shall become entitled to vacation with pay as set out below.
Earned Vacations. Any additional annual vacation over and above that provided for above that may be gazetted by the Provincial and/or Federal Governments will be incorporated into this Agreement.
Earned Vacations. 20.01 With the exception of those employees hired on or after September 9, 1993, employees shall become entitled to vacation time with pay at their regular straight-time rate or the applicable percentage of weekly gross earnings (whichever is the greater) as specified in the following schedule, after they have completed the full years of service with the Company, which are set out in the left hand column.
Earned Vacations. Full-time employees under these provisions shall accrue vacations as follows:
1 1 12 day for each month of service during the first five years of service in the School District. [Equivalent to thirteen (13) days per year.]
1 1 2 days for each month of service during the 6th-15th years of service in the School District. [Equivalent to eighteen (18) days per year.]

Earned Vacations. As far as is practical to do so, the immediate supervisor shall make every effort to approve earned vacations at the times as requested, provided that it does not conflict with the operational requirements of the Residence.

(b) Employees hired after January 1, 1993, shall be entitled to vacation time with pay, as set out below.
Earned Vacations. All full-time employees covered by this Agreement shall be entitled to vacation as listed below.
a. Police Academy Recruit through one (1) year will receive no vacation hours.
b. New hires up to the completion of one (1) year of service, an employee shall receive 48 hours of vacation per year.
c. Starting the second (2nd) year of service, until the completion of five (5) years of service shall receive eighty-four (84) hours of vacation per year.
d. Starting the sixth (6th) year of service, until completion of ten (10) years of service, shall receive one hundred and sixty-eight (168) hours of vacation per year.
e. Starting the eleventh (11th) year of service, until the completion of twenty (20) years of service shall receive two hundred and four (204) hours of vacation per year. Service time for computing vacation time shall be computed from date of hiring as full-time officer and shall not include part-time service except that prior part- time service with the Township can count for up to one (1) year at the Township’s discretion.
Earned Vacations. An employee will entitled to an annual paid vacation in accordance with the following: Ten (10) hours of vacation (to a maximum of 120 hours in the year) for each calendar month (or part thereof) the employee is on the payroll in the first calendar year. Less than 10 years accredited service to be completed during the vacation year 120 working hours 10 - 17 years accredited service to be completed during the vacation year 160 working hours 18 - 24 years accredited service to be completed during the vacation year 200 working hours 25 or more years accredited service to be completed during the vacation year 240 working hours An employee completely earns vacation entitlement as per above. Therefore, the employee’s vacation is not fully earned until the employee has worked to December 31 in the current year. Vacation is intended to be taken during the vacation year in which the vacation credits are earned. Employees will be credited for previous related experience for vacation purposes as per the following formula: • 100% credit for the first 10 years of related experience • 50% credit for time greater than 10 years related experience
