Common use of Education Incentive Pay Clause in Contracts

Education Incentive Pay. A. A deputy commencing with his/her tenth (10th) year of service, who has an Advanced DPSST Certificate and an associate of arts degree (two (2) year degree or the equivalent), shall receive an education incentive pay of two percent (2%). B. A deputy commencing with his/her fifteenth (15th) year of service, who has an Advanced DPSST Certificate and a bachelor of arts degree (four (4) year degree or the equivalent), shall receive an education incentive pay of four percent (4%) (includes the two percent (2%) education incentive pay for a ten (10) year employee).
