Educational Leadership Leave. Educational Leadership Leave shall be defined as a teacher’s participation on or with a local, state or federal committee dealing with educational issues that shall have an impact on the Oregon City Schools’ future operations. Educational Leadership Leave shall be granted without loss of pay to teachers according to the following guidelines: a) Requests for Educational Leadership Leave shall be filed two (2) weeks in advance of the date for which the leave is requested of and approved by the Superintendent or his/her designee. b) Under extraordinary circumstances, the two (2) week notice may be waived by the Superintendent or his/her designee. c) Application forms shall be available in the office of each school.
