Educational/Professional Fund Clause Samples
The Educational/Professional Fund clause establishes a dedicated fund to support the educational or professional development of a specified individual, such as a child or beneficiary. This clause typically outlines how the fund is to be created, managed, and disbursed, including eligible expenses like tuition, books, or professional training costs. Its core practical function is to ensure that resources are set aside and used specifically for advancing the beneficiary’s education or career, thereby providing financial security and clarity regarding the intended use of these funds.
Educational/Professional Fund. Upon completion of one (1) year of service to the hospital, a regular employee may in writing request funds thirty (30) days prior to leave. Such assistance shall be subject to certification of attendance and/or completion of course. The Employer’s grant of funds, if any, will be subject to approval of the study and budgetary considerations.
Educational/Professional Fund. In support of the Employer’s commitment to continued professional nursing education and development, the Employer will contribute the following amounts on a calendar year basis for eligible employees, the purpose of which will be to assist in the payment of continuing education expenses and certification exams. Such assistance shall be subject to certification of attendance and/or completion of the course. Staff Nurse: $300; $500 if the employee has two or more years seniority and holds a current nationally recognized certification under Article 6.10 LPN: $150 Per diem RN: $150 Annual contributions will be pro-rated at 50% for staff nurses or LPNs with an assigned FTE of less than .5 FTE. Policies and guidelines regarding fund disbursement shall be determined utilizing the Labor Management Committee. The Labor Management Committee will also serve as a forum to discuss issues and concerns related to education leave and dollars.
