Common use of Effect of Change in Status Clause in Contracts

Effect of Change in Status. If CONTRACTOR changes its status during the term of this Agreement from or to that of a corporation, limited liability partnership, limited liability company, general partnership, or sole proprietorship, such change in organizational status shall be viewed as an attempted assignment of this Agreement by CONTRACTOR. Failure of CONTRACTOR to obtain approval of such assignment under this Paragraph shall be viewed as a material breach of this Agreement.
