Effective Date of Benefit Termination. Medical coverage termination will take effect on the first of the month following the end of the pay period coinciding with or next following the date of application to cancel coverage, or the loss of eligible employee or dependent status. All other benefit coverage terminations will take effect on the first day of the pay period coinciding with or next following the date of the application to cancel coverage, or the loss of eligible employee or dependent status.
