Election of Deputy Sample Clauses

Election of Deputy. Secretaries and two other members Elections shall be held by secret ballot. In order to ensure a balanced representation of the various countries on the Select Committee, the Secretary and Deputy Secretaries shall each be employees from different countries. The Deputy Secretaries and the two other members shall be elected at the first EWC plenary meeting among the EWC standing members, by an absolute majority vote of the members in attendance. Failing an absolute majority, a second ballot round shall be held between the two candidates with the highest number of votes. In the event of a tie vote, lots will be drawn to select the Deputy Secretary among the two remaining candidates.
