Time Credit. 30.1 For the purpose of this clause, Teacher includes Head Teacher (excluding Head Teacher Band 3) and Adult Literacy Officer.
30.2 Teachers who are required to perform direct teaching activities between 6.30pm and 10.00pm Monday to Friday and 6.00am and 10.00pm on Saturday as part of their Approved Program and not part of Excess Teaching Hours, shall have their direct teaching activities reduced by one hour for every four hours of such teaching or pro rata, provided that:
30.2.1 where, as a consequence of the operation of this sub-clause, a Teacher's teaching load is reduced by their attendance, the said teaching load shall be reduced by an equivalent time but the Teacher’s total related duties shall remain unaltered.
30.3 Teachers who are required to work during the hours prescribed at subclause 30.2, other than direct teaching, including the following circumstances:
30.3.1 Related duties (excluding meal breaks) which in one continuous period of time, extend beyond 6.30pm and 10.00pm Monday to Friday and or between 6.00am and 10.00pm Saturday, where a Teacher is required to teach two teaching sessions that are part of their Approved Program;
30.3.2 where Head Teachers are directed to perform supervisory duties;
30.3.3 enrolment duties; as part of their Approved Program and not as part of Excess Teaching Hours, shall be paid at a rate of 1.25 times the hourly rate for the Teacher so engaged. The formula for calculating the hourly rate of the Teacher shall be: Annual Salary x 5 x 1
Time Credit. Nurses eligible to accrue PTO shall accrue "A" Time Credit on the same productive hours as PTO is accrued, at the following accrual rate. The purpose of the "A" Time Credit is to compensate Regular Nurses at their base hourly wage rate, including shift differential, when they are absent from work as a result of "A" Time resulting from excess staffing on a unit. The Regular Nurse may choose to use PTO, "A" Time Credit or unpaid hours for Absent time. Accrued "A" Time may be used during any waiting period for State Disability insurance or Workers' Compensation and to supplement any such disability payments during a period of disability.
Time Credit. The EWC Secretary shall be entitled to an annual time credit of 320 hours. Select Committee members shall each be entitled to an annual time credit of 120 hours. Other EWC members shall each be entitled to an annual time credit of 60 hours. The time spent by EWC members to travel to and from and attend meetings shall not be charged against the time credit granted, and shall be regarded as effective working time.
Time Credit. Where gainful work is available, employees may accrue work time in excess of 7 hours per day. Any amount of time worked above the contract hours is time credit unless it is paid overtime (see Overtime). At the end of a settlement period a maximum of 14 hours may be carried forward to the next settlement period. Time in excess of 14 hours will be forfeited. Where the employee has been directed not to take flexi-leave because of organisational needs, the untaken days may also be carried over to the next settlement period (see Carryover).

Time Credit. For any service month where the Services do not meet the Availability Level (“Down Time”), CenturyLink will issue a credit to Customer equal to the amount of Service MRCs for affected Service paid in advance for the Down Time period; provided that (i) the Customer’s use of the Services is impacted, (ii) the Down Time is reported to CenturyLink within twenty-four (24) hours of each occurrence, and (iii) Customer requests credits not more than thirty (30) days after each occurrence. The total service credits issued by CenturyLink for any service month will be up to a maximum of fifty percent (50%) of the Service MRCs for affected Service paid for the affected month.

A French member of the GPF who is also a permanent union representative may transfer his or her time credit to another French member. This transfer shall be to a specific GPF employee. The transfer shall be effected by e-mail to the person managing the council’s administration, on the anniversary of the representative’s term, each year. This statement, once approved by GPF HR, will be forwarded to the entity employing the transferee.
