Time Credit. 30.1 For the purpose of this clause, Teacher includes Head Teacher (excluding Head Teacher Band 3) and Adult Literacy Officer. 30.2 Teachers who are required to perform direct teaching activities between 6.30pm and 10.00pm Monday to Friday and 6.00am and 10.00pm on Saturday as part of their Approved Program and not part of Excess Teaching Hours, shall have their direct teaching activities reduced by one hour for every four hours of such teaching or pro rata, provided that: 30.2.1 where, as a consequence of the operation of this sub-clause, a Teacher's teaching load is reduced by their attendance, the said teaching load shall be reduced by an equivalent time but the Teacher’s total related duties shall remain unaltered. 30.3 Teachers who are required to work during the hours prescribed at subclause 30.2, other than direct teaching, including the following circumstances: 30.3.1 Related duties (excluding meal breaks) which in one continuous period of time, extend beyond 6.30pm and 10.00pm Monday to Friday and or between 6.00am and 10.00pm Saturday, where a Teacher is required to teach two teaching sessions that are part of their Approved Program; 30.3.2 where Head Teachers are directed to perform supervisory duties; 30.3.3 enrolment duties; as part of their Approved Program and not as part of Excess Teaching Hours, shall be paid at a rate of 1.25 times the hourly rate for the Teacher so engaged. The formula for calculating the hourly rate of the Teacher shall be: Annual Salary x 5 x 1

Time Credit. Nurses eligible to accrue PTO shall accrue "A" Time Credit on the same productive hours as PTO is accrued, at the following accrual rate. The purpose of the "A" Time Credit is to compensate Regular Nurses at their base hourly wage rate, including shift differential, when they are absent from work as a result of "A" Time resulting from excess staffing on a unit. The Regular Nurse may choose to use PTO, "A" Time Credit or unpaid hours for Absent time. Accrued "A" Time may be used during any waiting period for State Disability insurance or Workers' Compensation and to supplement any such disability payments during a period of disability.
Time Credit. Where gainful work is available, employees may accrue work time in excess of 7 hours per day. Any amount of time worked above the contract hours is time credit unless it is paid overtime (see Overtime). At the end of a settlement period a maximum of 14 hours may be carried forward to the next settlement period. Time in excess of 14 hours will be forfeited. Where the employee has been directed not to take flexi-leave because of organisational needs, the untaken days may also be carried over to the next settlement period (see Carryover).

Time Credit. For any service month where the Services do not meet the Availability Level (“Down Time”), CenturyLink will issue a credit to Customer equal to the amount of Service MRCs for affected Service paid in advance for the Down Time period; provided that (i) the Customer’s use of the Services is impacted, (ii) the Down Time is reported to CenturyLink within twenty-four (24) hours of each occurrence, and (iii) Customer requests credits not more than thirty (30) days after each occurrence. The total service credits issued by CenturyLink for any service month will be up to a maximum of fifty percent (50%) of the Service MRCs for affected Service paid for the affected month.

  • Service Credit To the extent that any Transferred Employee’s acquired rights are not already protected by the Transfer Regulations or other applicable Law, Purchaser shall, and shall cause its Affiliates to, recognize the prior service of, or recognized with respect to, each Transferred Employee as if such service had been performed with Purchaser for all purposes, including eligibility, vesting, service-related level of benefits and benefit accrual (except for any benefit accruals for U.S. union and non-union hourly Transferred Employees under the defined benefit Rexam Pension Plan, provided that such service for benefit accruals purposes under the Rexam Pension Plan shall be recognized for purposes of early retirement subsidies in accordance with Schedule 5.1(h)) under the employee benefit plans and policies provided by Purchaser to such Transferred Employee following the Closing, to the same extent such service was recognized by Seller, Rexam or any of their respective Affiliates, as applicable, immediately prior to the Closing. Purchaser shall, or shall cause its Affiliates (including the Purchased Entities) to, (i) waive any preexisting condition limitations otherwise applicable to Transferred Employees and their eligible dependents under any plan of Purchaser or any Affiliate of Purchaser that provides health or life benefits in which the Transferred Employees may be eligible to participate following the Closing, other than any limitations that were in effect with respect to a Transferred Employee as of the Closing under the analogous Employee Benefit Plan, (ii) honor any deductible, co-payment and out-of-pocket maximums incurred by the Transferred Employees and their eligible dependents under the health plans in which they participated immediately prior to the Closing during the portion of the calendar year prior to the Closing in satisfying any deductibles, co-payments or out-of-pocket maximums under health plans of Purchaser or any of its Affiliates in which they are eligible to participate after the Closing in the same plan year in which such deductibles, co-payments or out-of-pocket maximums were incurred and (iii) waive any waiting period limitation or evidence of insurability requirement that would otherwise be applicable to a Transferred Employee and his or her eligible dependents on or after the Closing, in each case to the extent such Transferred Employee or eligible dependent had satisfied any similar limitation or requirement under an analogous Employee Benefit Plan prior to the Closing.

  • Prior Service Credit A unit employee who has had a break in service shall be credited with prior periods of full-time state employment for leave accrual purposes if that employee's current period of full-time state employment has been three (3) or more continuous years in duration. Only prior periods of full-time state employment of two (2) or more consecutive years in duration shall be eligible for crediting.

  • Time Commitment The Advisor shall, and shall cause its Affiliates and their respective employees, officers and agents to, devote to the Company such time as shall be reasonably necessary to conduct the business and affairs of the Company in an appropriate manner consistent with the terms of this Agreement. The Company acknowledges that the Advisor and its Affiliates and their respective employees, officers and agents may also engage in activities unrelated to the Company and may provide services to Persons other than the Company or any of its Affiliates.

  • Service Credits Employees on parental leave shall be entitled to normal accumulation of service credits for the duration of the parental leave.

  • Sick Leave Credit All employees shall be able to draw on a block of nine (9) days sick leave when they commence employment. If all or part of this block of sick leave is used it will be paid back as sick leave is accumulated. If an employee ceases employment and has a negative balance in sick leave credit, this amount will be deducted from his/her final paycheque.
