Common use of Election of the Chairman Clause in Contracts

Election of the Chairman. (a) A chairman of the Owners’ Committee (including a chairman elected under Clause 12.7(b)) shall hold office until the conclusion of the next meeting of the Owners convened under Clause 11.1(c). (b) If the chairman of the Owners’ Committee ceases to be a member of the Owners’ Committee for any reason or if he resigns his chairmanship before the conclusion of the next meeting of the Owners convened under Clause 11.1(c), the members of the Owners’ Committee shall elect one of themselves to be the chairman of the Owners’ Committee.
