Common use of Election to Waive Health Coverage Clause in Contracts

Election to Waive Health Coverage. Each employee (except employees whose spouses are also eligible for coverage) may elect to refuse participation in the Center Health Insurance Program and may provide for his/her own health insurance. The Employer will place Fifty ($50) dollars in a trust account each month of this Agreement that the employee is eligible but does not elect coverage. The employee will receive the funds so accumulated by December 15 of each year or upon termination. An employee may elect to resume coverage the first of the month following a minimum of three (3) business days’ notice.
