Common use of Elementary and Secondary School Staffing Clause in Contracts

Elementary and Secondary School Staffing. a) The Board will staff the elementary and secondary schools in the school system subject to its financial ability, the availability of qualified and acceptable staff and the availability of classroom space as approved by the Ministry of Education and as required under the Education Act, and its related Regulations as might be amended from time to time, in consultation with the Joint Staffing Committee. b) There shall be established a Joint Staffing Committee (the “Committee”) composed of three (3) representatives of the Teachers appointed by the union and three (3) representatives of the Board.
