Elementary Level Transfers. Teachers at the elementary level who have been involuntarily transferred because of declining enrollment may request a voluntary transfer within their tenure areas in subsequent years, stating school(s), grade levels or areas preferred. These requests will be honored provided the teacher is qualified and the transfer will not have a negative impact on the staffing and programs of the schools. Such transfer may not require the involuntary transfer of another staff member.
