Notice of Vacancies. The employer shall post and publish notice of all job vacancies sufficiently in advance of the hiring date to afford all employees an equal opportunity to make application for the position. Posting and publication of notice of vacancy shall be accomplished in a manner consistent with the requirements of the employer's nondiscriminatory recruitment procedure.
Notice of Vacancies. Local presidents will be notified of upcoming vacancies and/or vacancy announcement when it is determined that a need exists for such position.

Xxxxxxxxx will be posted only after receiving a written resignation from a contracted professional employee of the District or if a new position is created within the District. When that official resignation has been received, the Superintendent will post, via e-mail, notices in all school buildings and the District Office. The Superintendent's Office will post notice of any certified or non-certified vacancy within the District for five (5) school days for current employees to apply for the position. External notices may also be posted at this time.
B. The building/program administrator will have the responsibility to interview all applicants who meet the qualifications needed for the position. All internal applicants who are qualified for the position will be interviewed.
C. If a transfer is approved by the Building Principal, it will be submitted in writing to the Superintendent immediately following such determination. Since such transfer would automatically create a vacancy in another location, notice of that vacancy will be posted as specified above, with the exception that if the same grade level vacancy for the school has already been posted, the above building notice requirement will be waived.
D. An application or letter of interest will be maintained within the District file for a period of one year from the date of inquiry. It is the responsibility of any applicant who desires to be considered for positions within the District to reactivate his/her file annually.

Notice of Vacancies. The District shall provide the Union with written notification of any existing bargaining unit positions of more than three (3) hours, which have become vacant. A position announcement will be posted on the District website for a minimum of five (5) work days.

Information regarding vacancies and new positions shall be publicized to the staff by posting notices in the high school and elementary school teacher’s lounges prior to advertisement. Where specific training experience or other qualifications are prerequisites for any position that is available, such conditions shall be stated in the job description.

No vacancy shall be permanently filled until it has been posted for at least six normal work days. Upon employee request, during the summer months, a list of current postings will be mailed with the paychecks or on payday for employees with 21 pays. A vacancy is a new or currently unoccupied position to be filled by the Board when all other employees have been assigned positions and for which there is no employee on leave of absence or lay-off status with a claim to the position.
Notice of Vacancies. The College will post permanent positions for a minimum of fourteen (14) calendar days, including an Outlook / e-mail notice to all classified employees. Copies of all postings shall be provided to the Union.
Notice of Vacancies. 23.6.1 Any unit member who is laid off and is subsequently eligible for reemployment as set forth above shall be notified in writing by the District of a vacancy. Such notice shall be sent by certified mail to the last address provided to the District by the unit member and a copy shall be sent to the Association. By sending the notice as specified herein, the District shall be relieved of any further notification responsibility. It shall be the responsibility of laid off unit members to provide the District Personnel Office with a current mailing address and current telephone number.
23.6.2 The unit member shall notify the District in writing of his/her intent to accept or reject reemployment within five (5) work days following receipt of the reemployment offer notice. Failure to respond shall be deemed a rejection of the offer. A bargaining unit member who refuses two (2) such reemployment offers thereby forfeits all reemployment rights and the unit member’s name shall be removed from the reemployment list for that position.
23.6.3 Unit members recalled from layoff within the appropriate time specific in 23.5 shall be reinstated at their prior salary schedule step and shall be credited with their prior District service for all other purposes in this Agreement, including seniority and longevity-based benefits.
