Common use of Eligibility for Full-Time Leave for Educational Purposes Clause in Contracts

Eligibility for Full-Time Leave for Educational Purposes. A full-time educational purpose leave without pay for a maximum length of one (1) year may be granted to a permanent employee who has worked for the District for seven (7) consecutive years when it has been determined by the College President/designee or the Vice Chancellor/designee to be in the best interests of the college or the District divisions. The employee shall provide verification of acceptance/enrollment at the beginning of the leave and transcripts at the end of the leave. The following conditions shall be given consideration:
