Eligibility for Voluntary Transfer. Employees who are not probationary employees shall be eligible to apply for Voluntary Transfers to vacancies which occur in their own classifications. An employee who has requested and been granted a Voluntary Transfer shall not be eligible to apply for another Voluntary Transfer until the employee has served no less than twelve (12) full months in the Service to which the employee was transferred. An employee who accepts a promotional appointment or a voluntary change in class status will be required to remain with the new Service assignment for a minimum of twelve (12) months and will not be eligible for voluntary transfer until the twelve (12) months of service has been completed.
