Common use of Emergency Alert Capability Clause in Contracts

Emergency Alert Capability. (A) In accordance with, and at the time required by, the provisions of FCC Regulations, as such provisions may from time to time be amended, EAS activation will be accomplished in compliance with the FCC approved Washington State EAS plan and the Local Area EAS plan that applies to Xxxxxx County, which has already been submitted for approval to the Washington State Emergency Communications Committee (WSECC). (B) Grantee shall ensure that the EAS system is functioning properly at all times. It will test the EAS system periodically, in accordance with FCC regulations.
