Emergency Call Backs. An employee on Emergency Call Back shall be paid for the additional hours worked and the time normally required to travel to the work site or a minimum of two (2) hours, whichever is greater. This emergency call back provision shall only apply where the employee is given less than 48 hours advance notice of the call back. Supervisors will minimize telephone contact with employees after hours.

Emergency Call Backs. In an emergency, i.e., any unexpected or unforeseen event requiring immediate action, the Department may utilize any means necessary to initiate assistance. Fire Fighters called in on an emergency call-back will not lose their place on any call back list. Emergency Call-Backs are a mandatory requirement to report to work in the event of an emergency or other situation as declared by the Fire Chief or his/her designee.

The University’s inability to make a Room available to me for any reason beyond the University’s control including, but not limited to, natural disaster, fire, flood, earthquake, condemnation, pandemic, quarantine, utility malfunction, infestation, or other emergency or force majeure event shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement by the University. In such circumstances, the University shall have no liability to me in any way for injuries, reimbursement, damages, inconvenience, annoyance or compensation of any kind. The University may attempt to find, but cannot guarantee, an alternative space for me. If the unavailability of my Room or an alternative space persists for more than 72 hours, I may terminate this Agreement and Check out during said unavailability without penalty provided that I shall be responsible for all financial obligations incurred up to the date of such termination. The University agrees to provide me with a pro rata refund, calculated from the date of such termination to the end of the Agreement Period, of any prepaid housing and dining payment made to the University, and to return my Deposit pursuant to this Agreement. The Transmission Provider shall notify the Interconnection Customer promptly when it becomes aware of an Emergency Condition that may reasonably be expected to affect the Interconnection Customer’s operation of the Small Generating Facility. The Interconnection Customer shall notify the Transmission Provider promptly when it becomes aware of an Emergency Condition that may reasonably be expected to affect the Transmission Owner’s Transmission System or other Affected Systems. To the extent information is known, the notification shall describe the Emergency Condition, the extent of the damage or deficiency, the expected effect on the operation of both Parties’ facilities and operations, its anticipated duration, and the necessary corrective action.
