Common use of Emergency Measures Clause in Contracts

Emergency Measures. 1. Where a Party adopts emergency measures necessary to protect human, animal or plant life or health, such Party shall as soon as possible notify such measures to the other Party. The Party that adopted the emergency measures shall take into consideration relevant information provided by the other Party. 2. Upon request of either Party, consultations of the relevant competent authorities regarding the emergency measures shall be held as soon as possible unless otherwise agreed by the Parties.
