Emergency Preparedness Practices and Facility Requirements. 1. Provide written emergency operation plans on-site 2. Provide the County with a copy of an Emergency Operations Plan. 3. Conduct two (2) fire drills per year and provide copies of the fire drill roster to the County. 4. Ensure that all furniture, appliances and other freestanding objects are secured in the event of an emergency. 5. Provide clearly marked, legible gas and water shut-off valves along with instructions/tools on how to operate the shut-off in cases of emergency. 6. Post an evacuation plan in a highly visible location within the facility. 7. Provide sufficient supplies of food and water for each program participant in cases of emergency.
