Common use of EMERGENCY REPOSSESSION Clause in Contracts

EMERGENCY REPOSSESSION. The University reserves the right to repossess student rooms and residence hall facilities in the event of an epidemic or other emergency as defined by the University. In the event the University deems it necessary to require students to vacate their residence hall facilities, the University will make efforts to allow residents to remove their personal belonging as long as doing so is consistent with health and safety considerations. In those circumstances where students are not able to remove their belongings at the time the facilities are vacated, the University will determine when students may return to retrieve their belongings. There may be circumstances in which the University must arrange for items to be packed and stored and picked up by students at the appropriate time.
