EMERGENCY ROOM CARE. Refers to intensive services given in an emergency room or emergency care center. Care is administered to stabilize a patient’s medical condition and/or prevent loss of life or worsening the condition.

EMERGENCY ROOM CARE. Any health care service given in an emergency room and provided to evaluate and/or treat any medical condition that a prudent layperson believes requires immediate unscheduled medical care.
