Employment of Consultants Part A General Consultants’ services shall be procured in accordance with the provisions of the Introduction and Section IV of the “Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers” published by the Bank in January 1997 and revised in September 1997 and January 1999 (the Consultant Guidelines) and the following provisions of Section II of this Schedule. RESPONSIBILITY FOR EMPLOYEES To the extent that the Contract involves the provision of the Services to UNDP by the Contractor’s officials, employees, agents, servants, subcontractors and other representatives (collectively, the Contractor’s “personnel”), the following provisions shall apply:
Consultant’s Responsibility Nothing herein shall be construed as limiting in any way the extent to which Consultant may be held responsible for damages resulting from Consultant’s operations, acts, omissions, or negligence. Insurance coverage obtained in the minimum amounts specified above shall not relieve Consultant of liability in excess of such minimum coverage, nor shall it preclude NCTC from taking other actions available to it under this Agreement or by law, including but not limited to, actions pursuant to Consultant’s indemnity obligations.
