EMPLOYEE MANAGEMENT ADVISORY COMMITTEE (EMAC). 31.01 For the purpose of this Agreement, the Union will be represented by its properly appointed officers. The Union shall provide the Employer with a current list of the names of the officers. (a) A Site Employee Management Advisory Committee (EMAC) shall be established. The Site EMAC shall meet at least bi-monthly. (b) The Local/Chapter Representative of the Union shall provide the names of up to two (2) elected Employees and the Employer shall provide the names of up to two (2) appointed Representatives to sit on the EMAC. (c) The desired functions of the EMAC are to examine and make recommendations regarding the concerns of Employees (e.g. staffing and working short) and other matters related to employment, not covered within the Collective Agreement. (d) An Employee shall be paid their Basic Rate of Pay for attendance at these Committee Meetings.
