Union/Management Committee. There shall be a union/management committee comprised of four (4) employee representatives appointed by the Union and four (4) employer representatives. The Committee's purpose is to provide and promote effective and meaningful communication of information and ideas and to make joint recommendations on matters of concern. Matters that are properly the subject of an individual grievance will not be discussed at this committee. The Committee will meet quarterly, unless agreed otherwise, at a time and place mutually agreed to provided there is business for their joint consideration. The parties will exchange agenda items at least one (1) week prior to the meeting. The parties further agree the Committee may meet at any time its members mutually agree a meeting should be held. The duties of the Chairperson will be shared by the parties. Copies of the minutes shall be provided to Committee members. The employer agrees to pay for time spent during regular working hours for representatives of the union attending such meetings. The parties may utilize video or teleconferencing services for the purposes of committee members attending committee meetings, where appropriate and available. Neither party can unreasonably deny an initiative to utilize video or teleconferencing services.

Union/Management Committee. ‌ (a) The parties agree to establish a union/management committee composed of two union representatives and two representatives of the Employer, unless otherwise agreed between the Union and the Employer. There shall be an equal number of union and employer representatives. (b) The Committee shall meet at the call of either party at a mutually agreeable time and place. Employees shall be granted leave without loss of pay or receive regular straight-time wages for time spent attending meetings of the Committee. (c) An employer representative and a union representative shall alternate in presiding over the meetings. (d) The Committee shall not have jurisdiction over any matter of collective bargaining including the administration of this agreement. The Committee shall not have the power to bind either the Union, its members or the Employer to any decisions reached in its discussions. (e) The Committee shall have the power to make recommendations to the parties on the following: (1) reviewing matters, other than grievances, relating to the maintenance of good relations between the parties; (2) correcting conditions causing misunderstandings; (3) dealing with matters referred to it in this agreement. (f) Minutes of the Committee meetings shall be transcribed by the Employer and distributed to committee members.
Union/Management Committee. The goal of the Union-Management committee is to support a constructive and cooperative relationship between the parties. To promote and xxxxxx such a relationship, the Union- Management Committee will be established. Ad hoc committees may be established by mutual agreement. The areas for discussion will include but not be limited to: i) hiring policies; ii) discipline and discharge policies; iii) training and promotion; iv) safety measures; v) matters that affect the working conditions of the employees.

Union/Management Committee. 14.01 The parties to this Agreement pledge to work towards the greatest possible degree of consultation and cooperation believing that the following concepts provide a fundamental framework for improved labour/management relations: a) The industrial enterprise is an economically characterized work community of capital-investors and workers under the leadership of a management; b) The economic character springs from a continuous striving towards efficient use of scarce resources, energy and environment, and in the adequate development of research, production and marketing; c) The enterprise requires authority relationships under a strong central leadership or management; d) A strong management does not discourage cooperation but stimulates it, recognizing that while leadership without labour can do nothing, labour without management cannot survive. 14.02 a) In order to further the aims of the enterprise, the parties agree to schedule Union-Management meetings once every three (3) months or as required during the life of this Agreement. Union/Management Committee. The Employer and the Union agree to establish and maintain a Union Management Committee at each site comprising the Employers Organization, consisting of not less than two (2) persons appointed by each of the parties. Management representatives shall include the designated senior nursing manager at the site. Union representatives shall be nurses employed at the site and shall include the President and/or Vice-President of the Local/Worksite. Appointments shall be made for a term of one (1) year but without limit on the number of consecutive terms a member may serve. The committee shall meet at the request of either party subject to five (5) days notice being given, but not less than bi-monthly unless otherwise mutually agreed. Other persons may be invited to participate as mutually agreed. The purpose of this committee shall be to discuss/study/make recommendations to the Employer and Union regarding matters of mutual concern at that site.
Union/Management Committee. The Parties agree to form a Union- Management Committee consisting of up to four (4) representatives from each Party. This Committee shall meet as mutually determined by the Parties to discuss matters of mutual concern. This Committee shall not by-pass the Grievance Procedure or supersede the Collective Agreement. The Management will be responsible for recording agreed matters and any commitments made by either Party, and circulating these to the representatives on the Committee.
