Common use of Employee Relations/Superintendent Clause in Contracts

Employee Relations/Superintendent. The grievance may be appealed to the Third Step by filing a copy of the original grievance and answer, along with the reasons for the appeal, with the Director of Employee Relations within five (5) working days of receipt of the written answer in the Second Step. The Superintendent and/or his designee and/or the Director of Employee Relations may meet with the union representatives and shall respond in writing within ten (10) working days of receipt.
