Employee Rights Responsibilities. Section 1: Unit Employees covered by this Agreement shall have the right to join, or refrain from joining, the Union. No member of the Union shall be favored or discriminated against, either by the Town or by the Union, because of membership or non-membership in the Union. The individual members of the Bargaining Unit are to regard themselves as public servants, and as such, they are to be governed by the highest ideals of honor and integrity in order that they may merit the respect and confidence of the general public.
