Employee Responsibility. Each employee is responsible for the care and maintenance of such equipment. The Company retains the right to inspect the equipment at any time and to require the employee to provide an accounting of any loss or abuse.
Employee Responsibility. The Union and the employees agree that employees share responsibility for their safety and health and agree to cooperate fully with the Employer on all matters of health and safety. In order to maintain a cooperative interest in safety, employees will inform management as soon as practical of all injuries resulting from accidents occurring in the work place.
Employee Responsibility. Employees covered by this Agreement shall perform their duties and responsibilities in a non-discriminatory manner as such duties and responsibilities involve other employees and the general public.
Employee Responsibility. The Union recognizes that the delivery of essential police services in the most efficient and effective manner is of paramount importance and interest to both the City and the Union. Maximized service to the community is recognized to be a mutual desire of both parties within their respective roles and responsibilities. Work procedures, schedules and assignments for improving services may be established and/or revised from time to time in accordance with the Management Rights provision of this Agreement, so long as no right guaranteed under this Agreement is violated. Each employee covered by this Agreement has the primary responsibility to render his utmost in efficient service to the City.
Employee Responsibility. It shall be the responsibility of each and every employee to take all reasonable precautions to preserve all records, machines and equipment under their care.
Employee Responsibility. 29.1 The Employee shall notify the Human Resources Division in writing of any change in the Employee's address or change in dependant status within one week of any such change. The Employee or the Union shall save the Employer harmless in any action resulting from the Employee not making the required changes in records as noted above.
Employee Responsibility. It shall be the responsibility of all employees to cooperate in programs to promote safety for themselves and for the public including participation on committees and compliance with rules and behaviors to promote safety and a violence- free workplace. Employee responsibility also includes the proper use of all safety devices in accordance with recognized safety procedures.
Employee Responsibility. Once a written trade request has been approved, the employee is responsible for the shift traded for as if it were his/her own. If an employee agrees to work a trade and fails to report for duty as scheduled, the employee originally scheduled to work the time will be charged with vacation to the extent he/she has a sufficient vacation balance. If there is an insufficient vacation balance for the entire trade, the vacation balance available will be utilized and the remainder of time will be charged as leave without pay (LWOP). If an employee agrees to work a trade and fails to report for duty as scheduled for the entire time of the trade, that employee shall have a disciplinary hearing before the Fire Chief. Employees who agree to a trade of twenty-four (24) hours and fail to report for duty for the entire twenty-four (24) hours shall, in addition to the disciplinary hearing, also be barred from obtaining a trade for one (1) year. Employees who agree to a trade of time and are late in reporting to duty shall be charged with being late for duty and shall be barred from obtaining any trade for the periods specified in Division policy.
Employee Responsibility. If an identified conflict of interest case is known to the Department, it will be assigned to an appropriate individual. Since it is impossible for the Department to be aware of all existing or possible conflict of interest cases, it is each Department employees’ responsibility to immediately identify such cases for his/her supervisor, manager, or director. Failure to report a conflict of interest case may result in disciplinary action, up to an including termination.
Employee Responsibility. In the course of performing their normally assigned work, faculty members shall be alert to observe unsafe practices, equipment and conditions as well as environmental conditions in their immediate area which represent health hazards and shall report such conditions to the appropriate xxxx or site administrator. In the event of the absence of the appropriate xxxx, or site administrator, the District agrees that faculty members shall promptly report such observations to the Director, District Facilities.
