EMPLOYEE SUGGESTION PROGRAM. 154. SFMTA and Union agree to publicize the Employee Suggestion Program and to encourage represented workers to submit cost saving suggestions for consideration and possible awards. 155. To encourage SFMTA employees to submit improvements in the management and operation of the SFMTA in order to sustain and improve services, increase nontax revenues, reduce inefficiency and improve the quality of work life, the SFMTA and its Departments shall implement an Employee Suggestion Program as described in the San Francisco Administrative Code, Article VIII, Sections 16.108 through 16.117a (as approved on 6/24/82) with the following changes: 156. The Program may be utilized by all employees. 157. Proposals to reduce SFMTA services are not appropriate for consideration under this Program. 158. SEIU may appoint one (1) departmental employee to serve on such committees as established in the Administrative Code. Union appointees will serve on paid release time.
