Orientation Program. The Company will allow a designated representative of the Local or Bargaining Unit up to one (1) hour per calendar month for the purpose of conducting the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union New Members’ Orientation Program. Such meetings will be conducted during the probationary period of employees, and will be held on Company premises. Employees participating in Orientation Program meetings during their normally scheduled working hours will not suffer loss of pay at their regular rate. Orientation Program meetings will be scheduled by Management and a Management representative may attend as an observer.
Orientation Program. The Employer agrees that new employees shall be allowed up to thirty (30) minutes off in order to meet with full-time Union Representatives for the purpose of familiarizing themselves with the general conditions and responsibilities with respect to the Collective Agreement and to the United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local No. 832. This meeting shall take place at a time mutually agreeable between the full-time Union Representative and the Employer.
Orientation Program. Company may require Student to attend an orientation program designed to orient Student to Company’s rules regulations and policies prior to beginning their Clinical Experience. The details and procedures for the orientation program shall be in the Company’s sole discretion.
Orientation Program. A representative designated by the Local or Bargaining Unit will be provided up to one (1) hour per month for purposes of conducting the United Steelworkers orientation program. These meetings will be conducted during the probationary period of employees hired to Bargaining Unit positions and will be held on Company premises. Employees participating in the orientation program will not suffer loss of pay for attendance during their regular scheduled hours of work. The program will be conducted by a USW representative working in the location of the probationary employee. The meetings will be scheduled at times agreed to by management giving due consideration to operating requirements. A management representative may attend these orientation sessions as an observer. The Company will provide each employee with a copy of the Collective Agreement.
Orientation Program. A hospice’s orientation program shall include:
(a) An overview of the hospice’s goal in providing palliative care and supportive services;
(b) Policies and services of the program;
(c) Information concerning specific job duties;
(d) The role of the plan of care in determining the services to be provided; and
(e) Ethics, confidentiality of patient information, patient and family rights and grievance procedures.
Orientation Program. The employer may provide an orientation program of not less than two (2) weeks to include essential information such as agency policies, procedures, routines, location of supplies, equipment, fire and disaster plans, and job description upon request by employee, etc.
Orientation Program. The Employer shall provide an orientation program for new Employees. Time spent in orientation when required by the Employer, shall be considered as time worked. Where written policies and procedures exist, they will be made available for review by Employees. The Union will be allowed a period of fifteen (15) minutes with no loss of regular pay during or following the orientation program to meet with new Bargaining Unit members. At this meeting, the Union will provide all new Employees with a copy of the Collective Agreement.
Orientation Program. The employer shall provide an orientation program to include essential information such as agency policies, procedures, routines, location of supplies, equipment, fire and disaster plans, and job description upon request by employee, etc.
Orientation Program. 10.01 It is agreed that an orientation program will be developed and reviewed and assessed by the Joint Union-Management Committee from time to time.
10.02 An interview with the new employee will take place at or about the midpoint of the probationary period and there will be an evaluation at the completion of the probationary period. For both Servicing Staff and Support Staff there will be an opportunity to observe the various facets of the job where appropriate.
10.03 There shall be an ongoing in-service educational program provided by the Employer.
Orientation Program. (a) Newly employed nurses shall have a one (1) week planned orientation period which shall include a system of classroom and on-the-job orientation.
(b) Planned orientation shall be provided for all three (3) tours of duty, and shall include adequate preparation to assume the role of Nurse-in-Charge on all three (3) tours of duty. "Adequate preparation" shall be defined as on-the-job experience under the direct supervision of the Director of In-service Training or an experienced Nurse-in-Charge, and shall not alter the current staffing pattern of the unit. This shall apply to both full-time and part-time employees.
