The purpose and intent of the Classification Plan is to establish a 27 process for the regular review of positions in the classified 28 bargaining unit. For this reason, an employee and/or supervisor 1 requested classification review of a position outside the five-year 2 review cycle shall only be granted under rare circumstances and 3 for compelling reasons.
