Holidays During Leave. Where a Public Holiday occurs during a period of long service leave granted to an Employee, the Public Holiday is not to be regarded as part of the long service leave and the Employer will grant the Employee a day off in lieu.
Holidays During Leave. A holiday that falls within a period of approved leave shall not be counted as a discretionary or accumulative leave day.

Holidays During Leave. 51.4.1 Where a public holiday occurs during a period of long service leave granted to an Employee, the public holiday is not to be regarded as part of the long service leave and the Employer will grant a day’s paid leave in lieu or re-credit one day’s long service leave.
51.4.2 Where an Employee suffers illness or injury during a period of long service leave for a period of 3 days or more, that period is not to be regarded as part of the long service leave but rather personal leave contingent on the Employee producing a certificate from a registered medical practitioner
51.5.1 In clause 51.5 "eligible period of service" in relation to an Employee means the period of continuous service between four years and seven years.
51.5.2 An Employee is entitled, or in the case of death is deemed to have been entitled, to an amount of long service leave with pay equalling one-fortieth of the Employee's eligible period of service if:
(a) on account of age or ill health:
(b) the Employee retires or is retired; or
(c) the employment of the Employee is terminated; or
(d) the employment of the Employee is terminated for any other reason except for serious misconduct or resignation by the Employee; or
(e) the Employee dies.
Holidays During Leave. If a holiday occurs during a period of sick or vacation leave of an employee, the employee shall draw normal pay and shall not be charged for sick leave or vacation for the holiday.
Holidays During Leave. 9 a. An employee on paid leave of absence who would, but for being on 10 leave, be entitled to holiday pay shall be paid for any holiday which 11 occurs during such leave. Payment for such holiday(s) shall not be 12 charged against vacation or personal illness benefits.

1 A. Layoff/Reduction of Hours
2 1. If a reduction in personnel becomes necessary because of lack of work or 3 lack of funds, employees will be laid off in reverse order of seniority. Each 4 employee will be notified in writing of layoff and probable duration of layoff, 5 no less than sixty (60) days in advance of effective date of layoff or the 6 employee will receive pay in lieu thereof. If a reduction of hours becomes 7 necessary, employee’s hours will be reduced in reverse order of seniority.
