Retroactive Pay for Terminated Employees An employee who has retired or severed his/her employment between the termination date of this Agreement and the effective date of the new Agreement shall receive the full retroactivity of any increase in wages, salaries or other benefits.
Term/Effective Date This Agreement is effective upon the Effective Date and will expire on the 30th day of June, 2023, unless earlier terminated in accordance with this Agreement.
Initial Effective Date The initial effective date of coverage under the Group Insurance Program is the thirty-fifth (35th) day following the employee's first day of employment, re- hire, or reinstatement with the State. The initial effective date of coverage for an employee whose eligibility has changed is the date of the change. An employee must be actively at work on the initial effective date of coverage, except that an employee who is on paid leave on the date State-paid life insurance benefits increase is also entitled to the increased life insurance coverage. In no event shall an employee's dependent's coverage become effective before the employee's coverage. If an employee is not actively at work due to employee or dependent health status or medical disability, medical and dental coverage will still take effect. (Life and disability coverage will be delayed until the employee returns to work.)
Employees - Special Eligibility The following employees are also eligible to participate in the Group Insurance Program:
Effective Date of Benefit Termination Medical, dental and life coverage termination will take effect on the first of the month following the loss of eligible employee or dependent status. Disability benefit coverage terminations will take effect on the day following loss of eligible employee status.
EFFECTIVE AND TERMINATING DATES A) This Agreement shall be effective from April 1, 2012 – March 31, 2014 and shall remain in force and be binding upon the parties until and thereafter until a new Agreement has been ratified.
Probation for Newly Hired Employees (a) The Employer may reject a probationary employee for just cause. A rejection during probation shall not be considered a dismissal for the purpose of Article 11.2
Overtime-Eligible Employees Rest Periods The Employer and the Union agree to rest periods that vary from and supersede the rest periods required by WAC 000-000-000. Employees will be allowed rest periods of fifteen
Effective Date and Termination Date This Contract becomes effective on the Contract Start Date or the date on which the Contract is fully executed by both parties, whichever is later. No party shall perform work under this Contract before the effective date. An email notification with a copy of the fully executed contract will be sent to the Contractor email listed above upon execution. Unless earlier terminated as provided below, this Contract shall continue through the Contract End Date. Contract Effective Date This agreement becomes effective when signed by the last party whose signing makes the agreement fully executed.
