Common use of Employees Leaving Unit Clause in Contracts

Employees Leaving Unit. Employees who leave this unit but remain in the employ of the School District will retain seniority accrued while a member of the unit, but will not accrue additional seniority until returning to the unit. Such accrued seniority rights may be exercised to return to the bargaining unit only if their non-unit position with the School District has been eliminated.
