Employer Notification of Intent to Contract Out. A. If the Employer develops a plan to contract out which includes a proposal to layoff bargaining unit employees, the Employer shall provide the Union with written notice after the Municipal Administrator approves the plan. B. The notification shall include information upon which the Employer based its decision to contract out the work including but not limited to the total cost savings anticipated by the Employer. Such information may include, but is not limited to, wages, benefits, and administrative costs. The Employer shall at the same time notify the Assembly of its intent to contract out work. C. The notification shall be sent to the Union prior to issuing any Requests for Proposals (“RFP”) seeking bids on the proposed work to be contracted out.
