Employment in External Remunerative Activities. Faculty Members are permitted to earn additional income from external activities, providing that all such activities are arranged so as not to conflict or interfere with their overriding commitment and primary professional loyalty to the University. a) The teaching of courses on overload (as per Article 16) shall not be considered external remunerative activity. b) A Faculty Member shall be alert to the possible effects of these outside activities on the Faculty Member’s obligations to the University and is responsible for consulting with the Xxxx before becoming involved in any outside activity that could lead to a conflict or the appearance of a conflict of commitment or interest.
